MYSTIC DRUMZ HAS BEEN GATHERING ACCLAIM FROM TEACHERS, STUDENTS, CHILDREN AND PARENTS EVERYWHERE. HEAR WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY AFTER THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED THE FUN AND INTERACTIVITY OF A MYSTIC DRUMZ SESSION.

The Rose Theatre held two school performances of “The Legend of Marshmallow Island” on February 16th, 2010 and received rave reviews from both students and teachers. The teachers loved the energy of the show and how it taught while keeping their students entertained and completely focused. We loved how the performance tied into many curriculum requirements including world music, geography and history. The Rose Theatre would highly recommend booking “The Legend of Marshmallow Island” and we look forward to working with Mystic Drumz again in the future.

“Marshmallow Island was awesome! That’s exactly what the 5 year olds with me said!”

Brampton Teacher

Mystic Drumz performed their first show in the family fun series called “The Legend of Marshmallow Island” at my school, Humbervale Montessori, this past January to compliment our classroom theme about Musical instruments and the Orchestra. Mystic Drumz lead the children on an unforgettable adventure into rhythm and movement, while capturing their imaginations and attention through artful storytelling and creative descriptions of instrument origins. Strong multi-cultural messages came through the songs and stories that were shared with the children. The program will exceed your expectations, I’ve been teaching for many years and this show is one of the few that totally captivated the entire group and connected with the children at so many levels.
Andrea Heitz, Principal, Humbervale Montessori School

Thank you so much for coming and being a part of the Sound of Music Festival. I loved your workshops, your energy and your interaction with the kids! It was amazing to see how, in a short half hour the children learned a complete drumming routine and song. I also loved watching the looks on people’s faces as they arrived in the park and heard the music the children were making. I hope we have the opportunity to work together again.

"Mystic Drumz has developed a highly creative, exciting, interactive, hands-on program. It has the ability to magically dazzle children of all ages. ‘Fantantibulous’ program and would highly recommend it."

"The Button People have finally arrived at Mystic Drumz - what a fantastic show! We were so pleased to have it launch here at Cosmo Music and it fit right into our philosophy that Music Makes You Smarter! Lorne Lampert is a phenomenal music teacher/performer. Every child was riveted to his story and all the instruments he had on stage. They couldn’t wait for the next step in the adventure to come. The interactivity of the show and the relation of the musical terms to the audience were well matched. The show is truly a family oriented outing – The Mystic Drumz performance is entertaining for both kids and parents – he kept us laughing the entire time! We hope to see more of his musical stories come to life and bring them to every child possible."

“Mystic Drumz provides a program that is diverse and entertaining. There is nothing like laughter and we laughed from beginning to end. Following the performance, the entire staff commented on the excellence of the performance. I enjoyed it so much that I enlisted Mystic Drumz for a personal event. Adults and children alike at this event were completely taken with both the Mystic Drumz music and stories. The program is interesting, educational, humorous and exciting! It would be my pleasure and that of my colleagues to work with Mystic Drumz again.”

"Mystic Drumz imparted an abundance of knowledge about rhythm and beat which reinforced the Ministry curriculum expectations in music. I would highly recommend this interactive workshop which is appropriate for students at the elementary level."

“Thank you for your visit to the centre yesterday. The children truly enjoyed your visit and spoke about it all afternoon. Some of the comments I heard from them were: ‘That was greater than great’, ‘That was amazing’, ‘That was better than the Wiggles’, "I want to do that when I grow up’.”
